Enameled Jewelry

The finish is an enamel with an acrylic epoxy coating.
We start with a hand made steel dye and use brass, which is then dye struck.
After the emblem is created, the pin finding is soldered in place and the entire piece is carefully polished and gold plated, then hand enameled with quality pigments and sealed with a clear resin dome.
After applying all the colors, the pin is baked for several hours, creating a durable finish such as you would find on an automobile
All Enameled Jewelry comes attached to a hang card with educational information identifying the Species, Scientific Name and Family Common Name.

Enameled Pins

The pins are generally 1" to 1.25" in diameter (except for the smaller Lady Bug).

Enameled Earrings

Earrings are generally 0.75" in diameter and are on hypoallergenic ear wires, unless otherwise noted. The Lady Bug earrings are on gold finished posts.
